Everyone has a story to tell, a life well-lived, and experiences that shape who they are as a person. My life and my story are ordinary, my hope is to spark something extraordinary through my life, my experiences, and the way I live my life. If you are here, you are probably wondering who I am and what you can learn about me.
I am a hard-working woman who wears many hats in life from being a wife and a mother to four amazing kids to a dog mom and an auntie to twins! Life is busy and fulfilling as I lead my life with purpose. My faith and my family are the reason behind who I am and why I am here. We live in the village of Old Mission on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Michigan with our three-year-old Golden retriever, Kona. I am a third generation native to the area and spent some time during my youth in Phoenix, Arizona. I am always up for an adventure and love to travel.
When it comes to hobbies, crafts, and sports, I was always a cross-country runner, turned long-distance dog walker. I enjoy paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, outdoor recreational sports, camping, and gardening! I am a self-taught knitter, crocheter, jewelry maker, and ceramicist aka. potter, with an in-home studio and business, Old Mission Pottery LLC. I love to read, write, journal, drink coffee on the porch and watch the stars after late-night bon fires. My husband and I are always fixing things, working on DIY projects, and enjoy our weekly date nights.
I have always wanted to be a teacher, potter, and a mother and I am fulfilling my dreams one step at a time. I have been working toward achieving my SMART goals, and living a life with purpose and plan to teach fulltime at a two-year community college in the near future!
